Household Uses of Colloidal Silver

You might be surprised that you can basically start a new life free from the negative impact of dangerous toxic chemicals around the house by switching from over-the-counter toxic solutions to the pure power of silver water. That’s right, purified, deionized, microfiltered, structured water with 99.999% pure silver in it.

Of course, what we’re talking about is the same Silver Water that utilizes Wayne Rowland’s method for creating ionic silver water using a manmade Tesla lighting process, but the same holds true for colloidal silver made by any method you can get it. However, there are variances in colloidal silver quality, depending on the manufacturer, and quality may also vary among DIT colloidal silver do-it-yourselfers.

There is no doubt that Silver Water is a great bactericide, biocide, disinfectant, fungicide, germicide, microbial, virucide, general pathogen killer, and sanitizer. All this is without any toxic chemicals, and it’s as gentle as water.

It’s hard to believe that there is something out there that is so gentle, yet effective, that it kills pretty much anything that could compromise the otherwise healthy environment that our families inhabit every day. Every day, it’s a constant struggle against harmful bacteria and microorganisms that are contaminating the food we eat, whatever we drink, everything we touch, and even the air that we breathe.

Now, there is a simple one-thing-treats-all approach to home general cleaning and sanitation, and imagine a product that supports good health practices, without burning your eyes or hands. No tearing of the eyes, no toxins, and nothing to harm the environment.

While other products target a particular group of harmful microscopic organisms that could be harmful to our families, colloidal silver kills over 650 known harmful bacteria, compounds, fungi, microbes, molds, neurotoxins, parasites, toxic chemicals, and viruses, without Mr. Yuck stickers.

The secret is, this is no secret. Well, at least it didn’t use to be. For thousands of years, our ancestors relied on the silver to keep us safe from severe health challenges when faced with battling something that could not be seen.

Water was purified by being held in silver pitchers, and those who had the ability to obtain, possess, and use silver goblets, serving goods, and flatware, lived longer, healthier lives than their contemporaries. Prior to the prevalence of refrigeration, your grandparents or great-grandparents probably put a silver dollar in milk to keep it from spoiling quickly.

Colloidal silver hospital sanitization until 1940

Little did they know what all silver could do back in the day, but they knew that silver kept them healthier and added years to their healthy lives. It was used in surgeries and hospitals for sanitization in the 1800s until about 1940 when other, more profitable (less effective) commercial products were introduced.

The fanbase of colloidal silver survived in the groups who embraced more natural home remedies, living off the land, folk medicine, and various counter-culturalists, who believed that the old ways were better, regardless of enthusiastic and pervasive advertising claims and pretty packaging. They believed, as their ancestors did, that living naturally and simply, free of toxic chemicals, would help them live happier, longer lives as well.

Wherever there’s yucky stuff, silver water should be there. Anything from the nastiest garbage cans to the smelliest diaper pails can be sanitized and rinsed clean of potentially dangerous bacteria and offensive odors.

As a whole bathroom, toilet, tub, and shower cleaner, colloidal silver neutralizes and wipes away, dirt, muck, mold, mildew, and rust, like it’s nothing.

As a sanitizer, you can keep it in the kitchen, the shop, the mud room, the garage, sanitizing anything from spongers to toilets and their cleaning tools.

If you want to mop the floors? Use not toxic colloidal silver to do the job.

For spot-cleaning, keep a spray bottle ready, within reach, to keep on hand for those little mishaps.

Sanitize everything that gets touched by hands, which is the most popular method of spreading germs around our homes. Wipe down doorknobs, remotes, headphones, computers, keyboards, and phones, whatever is touched is instantly disinfected.

It is getting a little moldy around the plants or hot water heater area? Wipe mold away easily from any surface area without harming the underlying finish.

Gone are the days of worrying about food poisoning (that doesn’t mean you can stop washing your hands) at home in the food prep area because colloidal silver wipes out all food-related bugaboos, including E. coli and salmonella.

Personal care items, toothbrushes, fingernail clippers, razors, combs, and brushes of all kinds can be soaked for safe and rapid sterilization.

In the laundry room, disinfect anything and everything that goes in the washing machine from towels to linens by adding a cup of colloidal silver to the washer’s tub.

Keep kids and grandkids safe by spraying down toys with colloidal silver, especially before and after play days or parties.

Worried about short-term storage in the fridge? Not anymore. Add a tablespoon of colloidal silver to each quart of leftovers, or other food items, to keep them fresh until ready to use.

And wipe down that cheese with colloidal silver before putting it back in the fridge to keep the natural mold at bay.

Home Canning

My grandmother was an avid canner of homegrown fruit and vegetables. She made her own jams, jellies, canned meat, pickles, sauerkraut, anything cannable, she made it and canned it.

Colloidal silver is great for canning! Add a teaspoon before canning and keep your canned goods fresher longer. One ounce per gallon of milk or juice does the job nicely.

Add to condiment containers. leftovers, rub onto cheese before refrigerating.

Spray fruit, vegetables, especially greens, to keep them fresher, longer, when refrigerated.

Use Colloidal Siver in the Garden

Spray colloidal silver on first sign of infection to neutralize and prevent from blight, root rot, and mold. Colloidal silver’s anti-fungal attributes are perfectly matched for high quality gardening.

Involved in hydroponics? Add colloidal silver to tanks to prevent the growth of algae.

Homemade Health and Beauty Products

Are you a do it yourselfer who creates your own DIY health, beauty, or cleaning products?

If you are already making your own soaps, detergents, and cleaners, add a few ounces of colloidal silver to the mist to really kick it up a notch.

Adding colloidal silver to your recipe only makes it better, especially for products including essential oils to get increased efficacy when used.

What is the Difference Between Colloidal Silver and Ionic Silver?

For thousands of years, silver has been used medicinally, as an antibiotic, antiseptic, biocide, fungicide, microbe and pathogen killer, sanitizer, and viricide. Silver has a profound effect on over 650 different organisms that are harmful or potentially dangerous to the human body.

Silver prevents the growth and replication of bacteria, by penetrating its protective layer and scrambling the harmful bacteria’s contents, rendering it harmless until it dies then the bacteria’s remains are disposed of via the excretory system.

Silver is a natural way to keep pathogens from surviving and multiplying in moist environments, which increases the human immune response, providing a healthier balanced physical experience.

Silver’s Health-related Benefits

  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Anti-microbial
  • Enhances intestinal microbiome
  • Natural immune support
  • Does not build up in tissues
  • Does not interfere with antibiotics or good bacteria

The two Forms of silver solutions are colloidal and Ionic

The two forms of liquid concentrated silver are colloidal silver or ionic silver, and they are different, for instance,

Colloidal Silver

You will find colloidal silver products abound throughout the marketplace. Colloids are particles that have been reduced in size. These small particles are called colloidal particles. When these colloidal particles, such as colloidal silver particles, are suspended in liquid, the resulting mixture is called colloidal followed  by the name of the particles that were reduced. In the case of silver, the result would be colloidal silver.

The density of silver colloids in any liquid would be measured by parts per million or PPM.

Colloid particles are not water soluble and are somewhat unstable. In the case of silver, the colloids could fall out of suspension and gather together, even form a cluster inside the container holding such a mixture.

One may do a visual inspection of the liquid to check for particles which have fallen from suspension and gathered together. You will notice this by looking at the sides or the bottom of the container when the container is backlit by a light source.

Colloidal solutions possessing colloids that have fallen out of suspension could have passed their expiration date or may have been manufactured by less than professional standards. Additionally, these solutions may have been made with negatively charged particles or particles that are electrically neutral (have no charge at all).

Ionic Silver

Then there are the ionic silver solutions. In contrast to colloidal silver which is made of silver particles, ionic silver is made from silver ions suspended in liquid. Silver ions are atoms of silver less one electron giving it a positive electrical charge. This is what imbues its capability to disrupt the enzyme activity in pathogens, such as, harmful bacteria, germs, yeasts, viruses, and parasites.

Atomic silver ions are water soluble, whereas silver colloids are not. Being able to be dissolved in solution increases the bioactivity of the ion exponentially. The density of an ion is far less than that of a colloid. Therefore, when density is measured in parts per million (PPM), the resulting number can be very low, but many times more powerful than the colloid, so you can do so much more with far less ionic silver.

Biomolecules, including DNA, enzymes, intracellular contractors, and membranes of harmful bacteria, are easily penetrated and affected by the bioabsorbable silver ion. It is this unique action that makes ionic silver such a powerful antimicrobial agent.

In scientific side by side comparisons, silver ions were proven to be 7,665 times more effective than silver colloids.

What to look for when buying colloidal silver?

When considering buying any colloidal silver product, it is recommended that you review the data of a particular brand answering the following questions:

  1. Are the silver ions positively charged?
  2. Is the silver bio-active and bioavailable?
  3. What is the percentage of silver purity?
  4. What is the size of the particles in the solution?
  5. How many parts per million (PPM) of silver is in the solution?

Concerning Purity of Silver

Purity represents the highest silver content from which the product is manufactured. This will determine the purity of the end product if manufactured in a professional manner. 99.99% pure silver or higher is considered pure as silver cannot be refined to 100%. The best products will have 99.99% or more silver.

Silver Particle Size

Size matters in terms of silver particle size. A large particle might sound impressive, as might a high parts per million (PPM) concentration, but in terms of bioavailability and increased efficacy, the smaller the better.

There is a direct correlation between smaller silver particle size and absorbability. Atomic-sized particles are as small as you can get, which enables the silver ion to decimate the microscopic bad players threatening your otherwise healthy biology.

Also, smaller silver particles mean there is better consistent coverage of an area requiring treatment increasing biological activation.

PPM (Parts Per Million)

Silver formulas can be misleading in terms of parts per million concentrations. When considering colloidal silver, the higher the concentration of silver the more effective it will be. Because colloids are large in size it takes more of them to treat any given area.

Silver ions are approached from a different perspective. Due to their small size (atom-sized is as small as you can go), their molecular weight is of little significance because they outnumber colloidals thousands of times. So, a smaller, say, PPM of silver ions will still have many times more active silver than 100 PPM of colloidal silver.

Will Silver Turn My Skin Blue?

There is a rare condition that goes by the name of argyria, which does cause discoloration of the skin pigment that will appear blue/gray in color. An overabundance of silver salts in the body is usually the culprit.

Homemade silver solutions can host too many large-sized silver particles that aren’t as easy to pass through the excretory system. When the body lets them take up residents in tissues, it can build up toxicity levels of silver that can lead to argyria, which can turn your skin blue/gray.

Even though this is also referred to as, “silver poisoning from an overdose of silver,” there are no negative health side effects. Only skin discoloration, which is undesirable.

The small size of silver ions allows them to pass through the body relatively quickly, usually 6 to 9 hours. It just does its work and passes through, not setting up housekeeping in the body.

Sinus Infection Cold and Flu Pneumonia Too

According to a study in 2014 published in the International Forum for Allergy and Rhinology, colloidal silver can help people control sinus infections when used as a nasal spray.

Infections of the sinuses

According to an article published in Frontiers in Microbiology in 2018, colloidal silver nasal rinses are safe and effective for persons with chronic sinusitis when used twice daily for ten days.

The study included 22 patients who received either oral antibiotics and saline rinses twice daily or colloidal silver nasal rinses twice daily. Both forms of treatment improved sinusitis symptoms similarly, and colloidal silver was considered safe if used for ten days in this manner.

A powerful and pure colloidal silver nasal spray product can be purchased or you can add several drops of colloidal silver solution to a “neti pot” for nasual irrigation. You apply it directly into your nasal cavity, tilt your head back while letting it drain down your throat.

Moreover, recent research indicates that hidden infections caused by pathogens may contribute to respiratory inflammation associated with allergies and asthma. Infections caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa are destroyed by colloidal silver, which may explain why airborne allergy sufferers often find relief from it so dramatically.

Colds and flu

It is claimed that colloidal silver helps prevent all types of flu, including swine flu and the common cold.

It has been difficult to test this clinically, but the NIH split 100 children under the age of 12 into two groups in 2011 with a common cold and nasal congestion. In the first group, colloidal silver and beta glucan solutions were used, while in the second group, saline solutions were used. Although both groups were helped, 90 percent of the colloidal silver group recovered fully.

As published in the Journal of Virological Methods, study of silver nanoparticles have been proven to be anti-H1N1 influenza A virus activity, especially at the early stages of the virus’ spread.

The pneumonitis

When it comes to fighting pneumonia symptoms or bronchitis today’s drugs are limited in their effectiveness and may contail harmful chemicals. In the case of viral pneumonia, antibiotics cannot help at all.

Since colloidal silver has antiviral and antibacterial properties, it can help regardless of the pathogen.

When ingested internally, colloidal silver can help fight bronchitis and pneumonia, but the best way to use it is to breathe it in.

Silver directly contacts the germs that cause bronchitis or pneumonia, and it works quickly, clearing them up within a couple of days.

You can use a nebulizer to get the colloidal silver into your lungs most effectively. Use one teaspoon of colloidal silver approximately 3X a day for 10 to 15 minutes.

5 Benefits and Uses of Colloidal Silver

Colloidal silver benefits the animal as well as the human body in numerous ways, including providing a variety of medical benefits.

Antibacterial and antimicrobial properties

It is impressive that colloidal silver can control antibiotic-resistant superbugs. Over 650 different diseases-causing pathogens were destroyed in minutes by small amounts of silver while Dr. Larry C. Ford was employed at UCLA Medical School in the 1980s.

As opposed to modern prescription antibiotics, colloidal silver does not create resistance or immunity in the organisms it kills. There is no better time to stress this point than now, especially since the Centers for Disease Control -CDC -and Prevention report that more than 2.8 million Americans suffer from antibiotic-resistant infections every year, and more than 35,000 die from them.

An article published in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine supports ionic colloidal silver as a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent when usedd against both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria but not against fungi.

The care of wounds and the health of the skin

Colloidal silver stimulates the skin and soft tissue healing, according to Robert O. Becker, MD. In a research article published by Pharmacognosy Communications in 2012, certain colloidal silver preparations were specifically recommended for topical use in treating burns, thrush, periodontitis, and other conditions, such as CGAM.

Colloidal silver is a potent antifungal, so you can treat ringworm (Tinea capitis) at home with it. Ringworm is a fungus that lives on the top layer of the skin.

As a contagious disease, it can be spread through skin contact and contaminated clothing.

In addition to treating psoriasis and eczema, colloidal silver soothes scrapes and even helps repair burn-related tissue damage.

In fact, a colloidal silver-based nano gel dressing for superficial pellet gun wounds was successfully used in an article published in the Journal of Family Medicine and Primary Care. Such silver nanoparticle-based gel dressings for injuries or chronic wounds are becoming more common.

Prior to the advent of antibiotics, topical silver was used to treat burns. Silver nitrate and sodium sulfadiazine were combined to create SSD cream, which helped many burn patients recover.

Adding a silver coating to specialized foam, part of a CDC qouted procedure – wound vacuum system provides antibacterial activity in vitro. This technology may aid in healing chronic venous stasis wounds by preparing them for skin grafts.

Infections of the pink eye/ear

Despite the lack of research on its full potential, colloidal silver may be able to combat some common infections due to its antiviral and antibacterial properties.

Inflamed mucous membranes cover the eyeball and the lining of the eyelids, and pink eye is primarily caused by bacterial or viral infections. Using colloidal silver under your doctor’s care will take prompt action against this highly infectious and irritating virus and bacteria.

The tiny silver colloids act by attracting electromagnetically the infected cells and sending them into the bloodstream, where they can be eliminated.

Our modern prescription of antibiotic drugs are designed to work against specific classes of bacteria, yet ear infections are often caused by multiple classes of bacteria or can even be caused by fungal infections. The prescription antibiotic will be of no use in this case since colloidal silver works regardless of the cause of the disease.

Colloidal silver is a powerful antimicrobial agent that has helped many people with pink eye, ear infections, and other bacterial or viral problems. However, more study is needed to fully understand its mechanisms and safety.

The antiviral properties

As an antiviral, colloidal silver can be used to treat HIV/AIDS, pneumonia, herpes, shingles, and warts, suffocating the virus and reducing its activity.

Colloidal silver is also reported to be effective against the hepatitis C virus in numerous anecdotal reports.

Silver nanoparticles reduce viral infectivity by blocking virus interactions with cells, according to a study published in the International Journal of Nanomedicine.

As smaller-sized silver particles were able to inhibit the infectivity of the viruses, it may depend on their size and zeta potential.

The fifth is anti-inflammatory.

It is also a fantastic anti-inflammatory. The National Institutes of Health studied the effects of inflammation after pigs were treated with colloidal silver, and found that after 72 hours, inflamed skin of pigs treated with silver had near-normal skin, while other groups that were not treated with silver remained inflamed.

Colloidal silver reduces swelling, speeds healing, and boosts cell recovery, as many people have already known anecdotally for years. Although more human studies are needed to understand colloidal silver’s true potential for inflammation, what we have seen thus far is promising.

Silver Ion Water and Colloidal Silver

In general, there are three types of products marketed as “colloidal silver”:

Silver ion

Silver ions are the primary ingredient in ionic silver solutions. Ionic silver is marketed as colloidal silver, but it isn’t.

Ionic silver is said to be the most popular product in this category because it is the least expensive to produce. ????

As a result, it won’t offer the same benefits as true colloidal silver.

Proteins containing silver

In colloidal silver products, gelatin is added to keep large silver particles suspended. Silver protein is the 2nd-most popular type of colloidal silver on the market, and it can be easily made by adding water to silver protein powder.

Silver protein is also often marketed and labeled as colloidal silver, but it is less effective for human use, so you won’t experience the true benefits of colloidal silver.

Silver colloidal in its true form

Last but not least, true silver colloids do not contain any protein or other additives, as the majority of the silver is nanometer-sized.

How safe is it?

Is colloidal silver safe to use? There’s plenty of debate about its potential health risks.

According to an older review published in Environmental Health Perspectives, this type of silver water is a controversial topic that have contenders on both sides. According to the study, nanosilver remains an understudied material for regulators and scientists despite its widespread use. There is no consensus on topics as crucial as how it acts in the human body and environment and how its use may contribute to bacterial resistance.”

Obviously, there are 2 opposing arguments in this debate — what are being called “watchdog groups” that seize upon the confusion surrounding the safety and side effects of colloidal silver and advocacy groups, like the Silver Nanotechnology Working Group, which assert its safety and usefulness, noting that silver is only used in small quantities in most formulas.

There is evidence that misuse of colloidal silver, or the use of cheap, low-quality products that aren’t true colloidal silver, can cause adverse effects. There have been warnings about it causing irreversible conditions like argyria that cause people to turn blue.

Colloidal silver rinses for sinus demonstrated a good safety profile with no major adverse events when used for 10 days as a sinus rinse for chronic rhinosinusitis.

Human lung cells are only sensitive to high silver-ion concentrations, according to a laboratory study published in Particle and Fibre Toxicology.

Silver nanoparticles were administered to animals for 28 days without altering the structure or diversity of their gut microbiome, according to a study conducted at the University of Michigan in 2016. In contrast, broad-spectrum antibiotics can have detrimental effects.

This study is often cited when advocating we can use colloidal silver for pets.

In a summary of articles published in Frontiers in Microbiology, researchers agree that although there maybr some concerns related to nano’s safe use in human disease treatment and healthcare, the study suggests that it can be engineered to increase its therapeutic benefits and reduce potential side effects by “enhance its antimicrobial efficacy, stability, biosafety, and biocompatibility”.

Colloidal silver works as a potential antimicrobial agent, but only true colloidal silver should be used, and research indicate that short-term use does not cause adverse effects.

Colloidal Silver as a Healthy Alternative to Pharmacology

If you’re looking for a more natural alternative therapy to common health issues, such as sinus infections or colds, you’re likely to hear about colloidal silver soon enough. As colloidal silver is increasingly being adopted by natural alternative specialists as a healthy alternative to commercial pharmacology.

A wide variety of colloidal silver brands can be found in most health food stores and pharmacies, and you can also find a lot of information on the benefits of colloidal silver online. Many sources have conflicting opinions, making the information on the Internet need to be clarified.

There are thousands of testimonials about colloidal silver helping people with almost any disease you can think of. But you will also find some well-known health websites warning about safety concerns.

The FDA – Food and Drug Administration stated in 1999 that colloidal silver has no scientific evidence to support its use.

In order to help you make an informed choice about colloidal silver uses and benefits, I would like to lend you a helping hand and provide some evidence-based information.

Colloidal Silver: What Is It?

The total silver content of colloidal silver is expressed in milligrams per litre of water, or mg/L, which is equivalent to parts per million, or PPM, in numbers.

There have been at least six thousand years of silver use to prevent microbial infections. In addition to being effective against almost all organisms tested, it also contributed to the development of radiology and wound healing, according to research by the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

The practice of dropping a silver coin into a container of milk as a preservative was common before the invention of the refrigerator, as silver inhibited the growth of algae, bacteria, and other undesirable organisms.

The use of silver as a natural antibiotic dates back to ancient times. Modern antibiotics replaced silver’s use as a natural antibiotic in the 1940s.

Today, people no longer need to drop silver coins into their water in order to benefit from colloidal silver. Instead, they simply need to drop a few drops from a bottle carefully.

Colloidal silver (it is said by researchers) that it can supposedly help heal the body in three ways, according to a 1996 report by Richard Davies and Samuel Etris of the Silver Institute:

The bacterial and virus sulfhydryl (H) groups around silver readily react with oxygen molecules, resulting in catalytic oxidation. As a result, this prevents life-preserving cellular processes such as cellular respiration from occurring, which involves a series of metabolic reactions and processes in an organism’s cells, converting nutrients into adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and then releasing waste products.

Silver ions will attach to bacteria cell membranes directly and block respiration.

Approximately 12 percent of silver has been found in Pseudomonas aeruginosa, showing that it enters bacteria DNA. The exact mechanism by which silver binds to DNA without destroying the hydrogen bonds that hold it together remains unclear. However, it prevents DNA from unraveling, a crucial step in cell replication.

Why is silver a good antibiotic?

Silver is a good antibiotic, especially when reduced to its dissolved form as it attacks bacteria from two vantage points, one by punching holes in the protective covering, and the other by upsetting the metabolism of the bacteria from the inside out, rendering it harmless.

Does silver boost immunity?

Silver is touted as an effective immunity booster though there are no scientific studies performed that can verify its reputation for boosting immunity. Silver has, on the other hand, been proven to act as a germicide and is an effective water treatment used to make safe drinking water. Its action as a detoxifier along with being a bactericide, fungicide, and virucide, may relieve the body of enough internal stress to let the individual’s immunity raise of its own accord.

Can bacteria become resistant to colloidal silver?

Gram-negative bacteria, such as E. coli strains, have proven to develop a resistance to silver nanoparticles after repeated exposure but without any significant genetic alterations.

Colloidal Silver Water Information

Silver possesses medicinal attributes that are verifiable for as many years as we have been writing and documenting historical events. Our ancestors knew of the antimicrobial properties of silver. How are ancestors became aware of silver’s ability to act as a primitive biocide is somewhat of a mystery. Certainly, the most powerful and elite members of early society used silver technology to keep royalty and the affluent safe from illness that might plague the massive average inhabitants, probably due to the cost of mining silver.

Long before doctors were invented, the community shaman would monitor small pools of water that had a tendency to be struck by lightning during electrical storms. Water that was struck by lightning would be infused with silver, a natural reaction to the lightning strike. The shaman would collect the “Silver Water” and use it in practice to aid in healing the villagers. (Another mystery of “how” they learned about this silver technology is baffling.)

More recently, since the 1940s, as the medical community developed over time, and pharmaceuticals took control of all heath care and maintenance of the citizenry for profit, silver water has been regarded most kindly as “folk medicine” or more harshly as, “snake oil” or too dangerous for human consumption.

Naysayers often cite the case of Paul Karason from Bellingham, Washington, whose body actually turned blue, became knows as the “blue man” who tuned himself blue from taking homemade colloidal silver and died in 2013 pre-retirement at the age of 62. The story was an effective method or persuading the masses about the dangers of using colloidal silver.

Even so, a growing number of natural alternative specialists are reacquainting themselves with colloidal silver and using it in their practice as a natural bactericide, anti-fungal, virus eliminator, among other health benefits attributed to colloidal silver water.

Colloidal Silver Water is making a comeback as people are looking for other alternatives to pharmaceutical treatments for profit, that rarely provide a solution for health ailments. We have paid attention for a hundred years and are more likely to think that the medical profession is more apt to prescribe a patented symptom-numbing pharmaceutical product. Interestingly, these often-expensive pharmaceutical drugs are likely to cause other symptoms that can be treated with another patented numbing agent.

What is Colloidal Silver?

Colloidal silver is a liquid that hosts suspended silver particulates in distilled water that is used to strengthen immunity, fight disease, and impact general health in the human body.

Colloidal Silver Safety

Colloidal silver is safe for anyone to use at any age, including newborns and pregnant or nursing mothers.

Colloidal Silver Dosage

Of course, you do not want to take enough silver to turn yourself blue, so limiting an adult’s total daily intake of colloidal silver to two teaspoons twice a day is normal. Natural alternative specialists may suggest taking more or less based on your challenged body’s need(s).

Author Herb Roi Richards, Ph.D. reports that colloidal silver is safe, non-toxic, and has been effective in the treatment of fibromyalgia, Lupus, and Lyme diseases. Richards also suggests using colloidal silver when other prescribed antibiotics failed to deliver the expected results. This includes methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), a type of bacteria that is resistant to several antibiotics and may lead to flesh-eating disease.
